  1. Vicomsoft SoftRouter Plus 6.5.2 Updater

  3. This document contains instructions on how to properly Update version 6.5 of the SoftRouter Plus to version 6.5.2, if these instructions are NOT followed directly your SoftRouter Plus may NOT continue to work correctly.

  5. Instructions for Updating your 6.5 of the SoftRouter Plus

  7. First make a backup copy of your Vicomsoft SoftRouter Plus 6.5 folder for safe keeping (Copy 2). This will allow you to return to your previous installation if you fail to Update both the SoftRouter Plus and WebCache Server Applications correctly.

  9. First, run the Update SoftRouter 6.5 -> 6.5.2 application, the updater will search your HardDrive for the Vicomsoft SoftRouter Plus application to Update. Select the copy in your original Vicomsoft SoftRouter Plus 6.5 folder and select Update.

  11. Second, run the Update WebCache 1.1 -> 1.1.1 application, the updater will search your HardDrive for the Vicomsoft WebCache Server application to Update. Select the copy in your original Vicomsoft SoftRouter Plus 6.5 folder and select Update.

  13. Once you have run both Updaters YOU MUST replace the Vicomsoft Local Administrator in your original Vicomsoft SoftRouter Plus 6.5 folder with Vicomsoft Local Administrator file contained with in this folder.

  15. If the above is not done, the Vicomsoft SoftRouter Plus may not work correctly!
